Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the developer team operating this Truco! Activity handles information. Contact the team through the support channel linked on the Support page.

What the game uses

• Discord identity: your Discord user ID and display name are used to sign you in, verify that you are in the Activity, and restore your appearance and purchases. The app requests the identify scope, not access to your messages or contact list.
• Room information: table code, nickname, seat, team, cards, bids, reactions, points, connection state, settings and cosmetic choices. The server processes all hands to enforce rules. Each client receives only its own private hand, public plays and information revealed by the selected rules.
• Authentication: the server exchanges an authorization code with Discord and passes the access token back to the Activity for SDK authentication. It does not intentionally store that token in room storage. Room reconnect credentials are stored as hashes on the server and, for browser guests, in that tab's session storage.
• Purchases: the server checks Discord entitlement records for your user ID and this application's SKUs. Discord handles payment details, tax, receipts and billing. We do not receive card or bank information.
• Language preference: your English or Spanish selection is saved in local browser storage. On first use, the interface follows your browser language when it is Spanish and otherwise uses English. Your selection does not change the language of other players.
• Appearance profile: your selected character, deck and preferred table are stored in a profile associated with your Discord ID. Browser guests can save a free character preference in local browser storage; deleting the saved appearance also clears that preference.
• Hosting information: Cloudflare may process network and security information such as IP addresses, request metadata, timestamps and errors while operating the service.

Why we use it

To run multiplayer matches, keep hands private, reconnect players, prevent forged actions, apply game rules, verify cosmetic ownership, save appearance choices and maintain service security. We do not sell personal information or use game data for targeted advertising.

Who can see it

Players at your table can see your public nickname, appearance, team, plays, offers, scores and reactions. The selected rules may reveal a partner's hand at a match-point decision or a side-bet winner's cards after the deal. Optional private team hints are sent only to your team. People can still repeat information in voice chat or take screenshots; these are game privacy features, not confidential messaging.

Cloudflare hosts the service and storage. Discord provides identity, the Activity platform, purchases and voice chat. Their own policies apply to their processing: Discord Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the service or people.

Retention and deletion

Room state and its reconnect credentials are deleted after two hours without activity, subject to hosting alarm execution. Active tables retain their current match and a short rolling event log. Appearance profiles remain until you delete them or request deletion. In the game, open How to play → Delete my saved appearance. This resets your saved appearance; a later save creates a new profile. Discord purchase records remain with Discord and may be restored.

Cloudflare infrastructure logs and backups follow the operator's account settings and the provider's retention practices. For an access, correction, deletion or other privacy request, contact the developer team through Support. Include your Discord user ID only when needed to locate your information; never send tokens or passwords.

Your choices and rights

You may play on the website using a nickname without Discord authentication; browser guests do not get Discord purchases or a persistent Discord appearance profile. You can leave a room, change your nickname by joining again, disable sound and delete your saved appearance. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights over your personal information and the right to complain to a relevant authority. Contact Support to exercise them.

Eligibility and changes

The service is intended for people who satisfy Discord's minimum-age requirements in their location. It is not directed at younger children. The service uses international hosting infrastructure. We will update this page when processing changes and identify the effective date; material changes will be communicated through the game or support channel.
