These terms apply to Truco!, the independent card game operated by its developer team. By using the game, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. Contact the developer through Support.

Playing at the table

Use the game only if you meet Discord's age and account requirements in your location and can accept these terms, with a parent or guardian's permission where required. Discord's terms and community rules also apply when you use its platform.

Truco! uses points solely to score a match. Points have no monetary value and cannot be purchased, redeemed, transferred for money or cashed out. The service does not offer real-money wagering, betting pools, prizes or gambling accounts.

Fair play

Bluffing within the rules is part of Truco. Do not exploit bugs, access someone else's hand or account, impersonate others, automate abusive traffic, harass players or bypass ownership checks. You are responsible for your account and reconnect credentials. We may restrict access for misuse when reasonably necessary to protect other players or the service.

Regional rules

The game offers named regional presets and the house options shown before play. Local traditions differ. The selected in-game rules govern that match; a preset does not claim to implement every local convention. Server decisions determine legal actions and scores. Disconnections may pause play and can lead to the displayed forfeiture rule.

Optional cosmetics

All supported regional rules, the basic deck and table, and three characters are free. Optional collections and Premium Characters are one-time durable purchases through Discord. Each collection includes the exclusive character, deck and table displayed in its preview. Premium Characters unlocks the nine premium portraits shown in the character selector. Collection-exclusive characters, decks and tables are not included in that pack. Previous Premium Wardrobe purchases unlock the Premium Characters pack automatically. Previous individual biker, detective, singer and musician purchases unlock their corresponding complete portraits. Prices and taxes shown in Discord checkout govern the transaction.

Cosmetics do not improve cards, odds or scoring. Entitlements belong to the purchasing Discord account. Players may see a host's paid table during a shared match without acquiring permanent ownership. A purchase grants use in Truco! while this online service operates. It does not grant copyright, resale rights, access to other games, future collections or all future services.

Discord handles payments and refunds under its applicable terms and procedures. Refunded, expired or revoked entitlements can lose access after verification. For a missing item, use Restore purchases or contact Support. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights, including remedies for faulty digital content or discontinuation of a paid service.

Availability and changes

We may update the game, correct rules, replace assets or maintain infrastructure. Service availability, saved state and uninterrupted matches cannot be guaranteed. Where required by law, we will provide notice or remedies for material changes affecting purchased content. Do not rely on the game for any essential purpose.

Artwork and use

The game uses original illustrated and vector assets plus open-source software dependencies identified in the source package. You may use the game and share ordinary gameplay recordings or screenshots for personal use and promotion, subject to other players' rights and platform rules. Do not extract or resell paid cosmetic assets or represent yourself as the developer. The game is not affiliated with the franchises or brands that may have inspired broad genres.

Responsibility and applicable rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available and the developer is not responsible for indirect losses caused by ordinary outages or misuse. This does not exclude liability or warranties that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, willful misconduct or mandatory consumer protections. Applicable law governs any rights and obligations that cannot be varied by these terms.

Use the Support page for game, purchase-access and privacy questions. These terms may be updated with a new effective date. Material changes will be announced through the game or the support channel when appropriate.
